Calm is not a mood here. It is how the place is built.
Open since 2017 with one rule that still holds: nobody is double-booked, and nobody is talked into anything.

The calm-studio idea, in four parts.
One guest per chair.
The person doing your foils is the person rinsing them out.
Quiet is an option.
Say "quiet chair" when you book and conversation stops at the consultation.
Prices on the wall.
You hear the final number before anything starts, not at the till.
Home care, not homework.
Nobody at the desk earns commission, so "no thanks" is a full sentence.
Clean enough to show you.
- 01
The studio is on the City of Stonnington register for skin-penetration services, and is inspected on it.
- 02
Metal tools are autoclaved between every guest. The pouch is opened in front of you.
- 03
Files, buffers, wax sticks and pedicure liners are single-use.
- 04
Capes, towels and linens are laundered on site at 60 degrees.
- 05
Foot basins have disposable liners and hospital-grade disinfectant.
- 06
The spa floor runs on filtered air, so the rooms never smell of the salon.

"First balayage that did not turn brassy in three weeks. Mara wrote the toner formula on my card."
