One form, and a coach reads it

If you came here from the timetable your session is already chosen below. Nothing is taken from your card on this form and there is nobody whose job it is to ring you back three times.

We reply by text or email the same day, or the next morning if you send it after 20:30.

Getting there

Subway, train, bike, or the long way round

  • Bridge Street subway is a six minute walk. Out of the station, over the top of the roundabout, left along Kingston Street, and the arches are on your right.
  • Glasgow Central is fifteen minutes on foot over the Clyde by the George V Bridge. Most of the 06:15 walk it in the dark from October.
  • Two spaces in front of the door for loading only. Street parking on Tradeston Street is free after 18:00 and on Sundays, and is full by 18:10.
  • Bikes come inside. There is a rail along the back wall and a track pump that mostly works.
A rack of kettlebells receding into the dark at the back of the arch
Turn up ten minutes early on your first visit. Somebody will show you where things are and where the kettle is.
Before you come

What the arch is actually like

The unit
A railway arch, brick, about 180 square metres, with a roller door that is up from May to September and firmly down from October.
In winter
Two gas heaters and a longer warm up. It is a railway arch in Glasgow and we are not going to pretend otherwise.
Changing
One changing room, two showers, no lockers worth stealing from. Most people arrive changed and go home to shower.
The floor
Rubber over concrete, swept at 20:30, and the chalk stays on the bars where it belongs.
