The brief
A working lot with a house on it, not a house with a garden. Chickens, a nursery and a family of five.
What we did
- 01
Work yard between house and road
Deliveries and mud stop before the front door.
- 02
A veranda deep enough to work on
Two and a half metres, so sorting and drying happen in the shade and not in the living room.
- 03
Rainwater off the big roof
The roof feeds two tanks that carry the nursery through the dry months.
