The brief
A twelve-person design office that had outgrown a house and wanted a floor that could be reconfigured twice a year.
What we did
- 01
Nothing structural in the middle
One long span keeps the floor open so the desks can move without touching the building.
- 02
Services in an accessible ceiling
Power and data drop anywhere on a 1.2 metre grid.
- 03
Meeting rooms on the perimeter
Glass to the floor, so borrowing daylight does not cost the open plan its view.
